Rooted in Rhythm is a seasonal workshop series focused on reconnecting with the natural growing rhythms of Northeast Ohio through intentional gardening and plant relationships, blending the herbal and holistic spirit of Worts & Wards with practical, hands-on learning.
Workshop 2: Pollinators as Protectors — Designing Gardens That Support Biodiversity explores the essential relationship between food gardens and the pollinators and beneficial insects that support them, including native pollinators of Northeast Ohio, plants that help sustain them, companion planting for natural garden protection, and ways to create pollinator-friendly spaces even in small gardens, patios, or containers.
Participants will also receive a QR code during the workshop with access to Kelly’s free PDF guide, Let’s Get Growing: An Introduction to Growing Seasonal Food, a downloadable copy of the presentation, and the option to join Kelly’s mailing list for future seasonal gardening resources; printed materials will be minimal, so bringing a notebook is encouraged.
Note: This is a three-part workshop series. Each session has a separate registration and cost. The final upcoming session will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 12:00–2:00 PM ($55). Previous workshop attendance is not mandatory to rsvp
